Hello and Welcome to Pure MX!

This track has been a dream of ours for many years now. After many long searches we finally found the perfect location. Formally named Montalba MX, this track has been a part of the East Texas racing scene for nearly 5 years. Running mostly as a weekend practice track, it has become a respectable training facility for all level of riders.

Our goal is to provide the motocross community with a pure riding experience. We are getting back to basics and the love of the sport. By combining years of our industry knowledge, event promotion, track build & design, moto schools and personal riding experience, we hope to create and share a facility that is truly enjoyed by all.

Bio - Doni Wanat

Starting on the New York/New England motocross scene at age 16 in 1989, owner Doni Wanat quickly realized his true passion in life. He raced his way through the amateur ranks and turned pro just two years later. Soon he found himself a privateer on the AMA Supercross & Outdoor National Motocross circuit ... chasing the dream of a factory ride.

After three consecutive gnarly injuries, Doni decided to hang up his riding boots & move to Washington for a fresh start. Little did he know that his riding "retirement" would be cut short. This time around he participated in the Canadian Nationals & Arenacross series, and the Pacific NW Motocross & Arenacross series. It was during this time that he also began promoting local races/practices and teaching motocross schools.

More recently, Doni has been seen on the AMA Supermoto scene. He has been a rider and manager on the Rockstar Hart Huntington team. He has finished in the top ten in points for the last 4 years of racing as well as building many of the supermoto national tracks. Motocross and riding have always been a passion for Doni. He hopes to now share his knowledge and experience with other riders, while living his longtime dream.
